My book recommendation for this month is a book written by two of my wonderful colleagues and friends, Making Lemonade: Teaching Young Children to Think Optimistically. Considering the past year plus and all the struggles many of us have been through—sometimes we fall into a trap of not seeing what is positive and possible. This book gives many wonderful and concrete ideas related to the thinking of learned optimism. In my work around kindness, empathy and perspective taking, this book shares additional ideas that relate to a more optimistic world.

One source in buying books for yourself is a website called AddALL. It searches for the book and finds the best price! In addition, Redleaf Press also sells this book and is an amazing company for early childhood books.
